Avaocado and Your Hair

Avaocado and Your Hair

Why is avocado so special in regards to hair growth? The answer is simple! It’s moisturizing, helps stimulate growth, and leaves the hair shiny in luster. A fun fact that many people overlook is that the Avocado is a fruit! Although it’s not eaten like fruit, it is enjoyed in smoothies, salads, guacamole, and just by itself. So why did we choose to name the line pear? Two reasons. One: its shaped like a pear and two: my West Indian roots! I had no Idea for YEARS the correct name for this fruit was Avocado! My whole life until I was 15, I thought it was called a pear! Thanks grandma!

So why avocado for hair? All of the rich nutrients this fruit provides is simply amazing for the hair!!!! It’s packed full of Vitamins C, K, E, B5, B6, Potassium, and many more. It’s high potassium is great for hair loss. A diet lacking potassium aids in hair loss, or so they say. Many people don’t get enough potassium in their diets, our Pear mask and conditioner can help with that! Although avocado is delicious, we don’t recommend you eat our hair mask!!

This nutrient rich fruit is creamy in texture which provides great slip for the hair. It also provides the hair with much needed moisture. Another benefit is that it adds natural shine to the hair. Who doesn’t want moisturized, lush, shiny tresses?!!? I do! This fruit is one I consider a super fruit because of its ability to heal damaged scalp and hair.
